It is written by the prophets: And they shall all be taught of God. Thus, it is written, and thus Christ was to suffer and to rise again from the dead: That penance and the remission of sins should be preached in His Name, unto all nations. And Jesus Christ said: If the grain of wheat falling into the ground dies, it brings forth much fruit. Greater love than this no man has, that a man lays down his life for his friends. I am the good shepherd: The good shepherd gives his life for his sheep. Ought not Christ to have suffered these things and so, to enter his glory? For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. I lay down my life, that I may take it again: I have power to take it up again. In that day, you shall know that I am in my Father: And you in Me, and I in you. See my hands and feet, that it is I myself. Handle, and see: For a spirit has not flesh and bones, as you see Me to have.
And Jesus coming, spoke, saying: All power is given to me in Heaven and in Earth. He that hates his life in this world keeps it unto life eternal, for as the Father raises up the dead and gives life: So, the Son also gives life to whom He will. Thus, says the Lord: Follow Me and let the dead bury their dead. My mother and my brethren are they who hear the Word of God and do it. It is written that Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. My sheep hear my voice and I know them: They follow Me, and I give them life everlasting. Every one that has heard of the Father and has learnt, comes forth to me. And I will raise him up in the last day. I am the resurrection and the life: He that believes in Me, although he is dead, shall live.
And presently he that had been dead came forth. Jesus said to them: Loose him and let him go. The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me: He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor, He has sent Me to heal the contrite of heart, to preach deliverance to the captives and sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord and the day of reward.
You have not chosen Me: But I have chosen you, and have appointed you, that you should go and should bring forth fruit; and your fruit should remain: That whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in my Name, he may give it you. If you love me, keep my commandments.
The prince of this world comes: And in Me, he does not have anything. He was a murderer from the beginning: And he stood not in the truth, because Truth is not in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: For he is a liar, and the father of lies. The thief does not come but to steal and to kill and to destroy. If the blind lead the blind, both fall into the pit.
I know whom I have chosen, but, so that the scripture may be fulfilled: He that eats bread with Me shall lift up his heel against Me. At present I tell you, before it comes to pass: That when it shall come to pass, you may believe that I am He.
Now is the judgment of the world: Now shall the prince of this world be cast out. And this is the judgment: Because the light is come into the world and men loved darkness rather than the light: For their works were evil. For every one that does evil hates the light and does not come to the light, that his works may not be reproved. Walk while you have the light, and the darkness does not overtake you. He that walks in darkness does not know where he goes. While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may be the children of light. I am the light of the world. He that follows me does not walk in darkness but shall have the light of life. The light of the body is your eye. If your eye is evil, your body will be dark: Take heed therefore that the light which is in you is not darkness.
The world cannot hate you: But Me it hates, because I give testimony of it, that its works are evil. If they do not hear, neither will they believe if one rises again from the dead. He that is of God hears the words of God. I say unto you that he who hears my Word and believes Him that sent Me has life everlasting: And comes not into judgment but is passed from death to life. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life. It is the spirit that quickens: The flesh profits nothing. If you continue in my Word, you shall be my disciples indeed and you shall know the Truth: And the Truth shall make you free. I say to you: If any man keeps my Word, he shall not see death forever. Take up my yoke upon you, and learn of Me, because I am meek, and humble of heart: And you shall find rest to your souls.
He that despises Me and receives not my words has one that judges him: The Word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. Woe to you, because you have taken away the key of knowledge: You pass over judgment and the charity of God. To him that shall blaspheme against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven. You wicked servant, I forgave you all your sins, because you besought Me: Should you not then have had compassion also on your fellow servant, even as I had compassion on you? Woe to you, because you are as sepulchres that appear not: And men that walk over are not aware. You are a scandal unto Me: Because you saviour not the things that are of God, but the things that are of men. For what doth it profit a man, if he gains the whole world and suffers the loss of his own soul? Or what exchange shall a man give for his soul?
It is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a man: But the things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart, and those things defile a man. For from the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false testimonies, blasphemies. For where your treasure is, there is your heart also. Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God? It is written: My house is the house of prayer. But you have made it a den of thieves. Jesus said: If you will be perfect, go and sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in Heaven: And come and follow me.
The time is accomplished, and the kingdom of God is at hand. I say unto you that whoever commits sin is the servant of sin. Repent and believe the gospel. I say to you that even so, there shall be joy in Heaven upon one sinner that does penance, more than upon ninety-nine just people who do not need penance: Because this my son was dead and is come to life again, he was lost and is found.
Then an angel said to him: Gird yourself and bind on your sandals. And so, he did. And he said to him: Cast your garment about yourself and follow me. And they began to be merry. But it was fit that we should make merry and be glad: For this your brother was dead and is come to life again, he was lost and is found. For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
And as Jesus went on from there, He said unto him: Follow Me. And he arose and followed Him. And Jesus said: I am the door. By me, if any man enters in, he shall be saved: And he shall go in and out and shall find pastures. I am come that they may have life and have it more abundantly. I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father, but by Me.I and the Father are one. Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you, I speak not of myself: But the Father who abides in me, He does the works.
If anyone loves me, he will keep my Word: The Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him, nor know Him. The Spirit of Truth proceeds from the Father whose Word is Truth: He shall give testimony of Me. But you shall know Him, because He shall abide with you and shall be in you. And my Father will love you, and we will come to you and will make our abode with you. I say to you, unless a man is born again of water and of the Holy Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. The Spirit breathes where He will, and you hear His voice: But you do not know where He comes from and where He goes. So is every one that is born of the Spirit. He that believes in Me shall never thirst, but the water that I will give him shall become a fountain of water in him, springing up into life everlasting; for, as the scripture says: Out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
Follow Me.And going, preach, saying: The kingdom of Heaven is at hand. And when you come into the house, salute it, saying: Peace be to this house. He that believes and is baptized shall be saved: But he that does not believe shall be condemned. Behold, I send you as sheep in the midst of wolves. Be therefore wise as serpents and simple as doves. Do not give not that which is holy to dogs, neither cast your pearls before swine, lest perhaps they trample them under their feet, and turning upon you, they tear you.
Behold, Satan has desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith does not fail: And you, once converted, confirm your brethren. Take heed that you are not seduced: For many will come in My Name, saying: I am He and the time is at hand. Do not go after them. If any man serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: If any man serves me, him will my Father honour. If you abide in me and My words abide in you, you shall ask whatever you will: And it shall be done unto you. Again, I say to you, that if two of you shall consent upon Earth, concerning anything whatsoever they shall ask, it shall be done to them by my Father who is in Heaven. For where there are two or three gathered together in My Name, there am I in the midst of them.
He that sows the good seed is the Son of man. He that sows, sows the Word. Now, they whose heart is upon the rock are they who, when they hear, receive the word with joy: And they have no roots, for they believe for a while and in the time of temptation, they fall away. And the Word which fell among thorns are they who have heard and, going their way, are choked with the cares and riches and pleasures of this life and yield no fruit. But the Word that is sowed on good ground are they who have a good and perfect heart, and hearing the Word, keep it and bring forth fruit in patience. The good seed are the children of the Kingdom. The cockle are the children of the wicked one, and the enemy that sowed them is the devil. But the harvest is the end of the world and the reapers are the angels. In the time of the harvest, I will say to the reapers: Gather up first the cockle and bind it into bundles to burn.
Then Jesus said to his disciples: If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. Enter in at the narrow gate: For wide is the gate, and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many there are who go in there. If you will enter life, keep the commandments. The first commandment of all is: Hear, the Lord your God is one God. And you shall love the Lord your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind and with your whole strength.
He that shall persevere unto the end, he shall be saved. He that does not take up his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me. For which of you, having a mind to build a tower, does not first sit down and reckon the charges that are necessary, whether he has what is needed to finish it - Lest, after he has laid the foundation and is not able to finish it, all that see it begin to mock him, saying: This man began to build and was not able to finish. I am come to cast fire on the Earth, and what is my will, but that it be kindled? For everyone shall be salted with fire. For there shall be then great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, neither shall be. And unless those days had been shortened, no flesh should be saved: But for the sake of the elect, those days shall be shortened.
The hour comes, that whoever kills you will think that he does a service to God. And these things will they do to you, because they have not known the Father nor Me. Because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. All things therefore whatsoever you would that men should do to you, do you also to them: For this is the law and the prophets. But I say to you not to resist evil: Pray for them that persecute and calumniate you. Thus shall you pray: Our Father who is in Heaven, hallowed be your Name. Your Kingdom come, your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our sins, as we also forgive those who sinned against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Everyone therefore that shall confess me before men, I will also confess him before my Father who is in Heaven. He that is not with me, is against me. In your patience, you shall possess your souls. And will not God revenge his elect who cry to him day and night? Because everyone that exalts himself shall be humbled: And he that humbles himself shall be exalted.
And immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun shall be darkened and the moon shall not give her light and the stars shall fall from heaven and the powers of Heaven shall be moved; and upon the Earth distress of nations, by reason of the confusion of the roaring of the sea and of the waves: But when these things begin to come to pass, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is at hand. And he said to them that day, when evening was come: Let us pass over to the other side. Come apart into a desert place and rest a little.
Then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory, and then shall He send his angels and shall gather together his elect. And He shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on his left. Then shall the King say to them that shall be on his right hand: Come, you blessed of my Father, possess the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. And to the unprofitable servant: Be cast out into the exterior darkness.
Therefore, do not labour for the meat which perishes, but for that which endures unto life everlasting, which the Son of man will give you. Follow Me and I will make you fishers of men: To open their eyes, that they may be converted from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive the forgiveness of sins and a future among the saints, through faith in Me.
Arise and do not fear: With God all things are possible. If you can believe, all things are possible to him that believes. Go: Behold I send you as lambs among wolves. If by the finger of God, I cast out devils, it is doubtless that the kingdom of God is come upon you: When a strong man is armed and keeps his court, he enjoys his possessions in peace. But if a stronger than he comes upon him and overcomes him, He will take away all his armour in which he trusted and will distribute his spoils. Then, when the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walks through places without water, seeking rest; and not finding, he says: I will return into my house from where I came out. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself: And entering in, they dwell there, and the last state of that man becomes worse than the first.
Yes, rather, blessed are they who hear the Word of Godand keep it.Fear not, only believe.Your sins are forgiven.Behold, I have given you power to tread upon serpents and scorpions and upon all the power of the enemy: And nothing shall hurt you. Yet, do not rejoice in this: That spirits are subject to you; but rejoice in this: That your names are written in Heaven.
